The holidays are stressful for everyone, but it is an especially stressful time of year for those that identify as LGBT+. At the OutCenter, we want to give a warm welcome home for the holidays to our LGBT+ community.
On November 19th, the 4th annual Holiday Pride concert is being held at the Heritage Museum and Cultural Center in St. Joseph, Michigan. It will be an inclusive event, featuring music, food, and – most importantly – community. Live music will be played by local artists, including Slim Gypsy Baggage and The Andrew Fisher Quartet. The event starts at 7 pm, but after the concert, there will be a champagne toast and afterglow social time.
We hope to provide a fun and welcoming kickoff to the holiday season. Holiday Pride is about coming together again in a time of cheer. We would like to encourage everyone, especially allies, take home an attitude of acceptance and gratitude to their families this holiday season.
You can purchase tickets online at our eventbrite page for $40, or you can purchase tickets at the door for $45. We hope to see you there!
