Don’t miss this opportunity to help shape a 3-year plan for how state and federal resources will be used to meet the needs of older adults in southwest Michigan. The hearing will be on April 4th from 2pm to 3:30pm at 2920 Lakeview Avenue, Saint Joseph Michigan.

This will be immediately followed by the Older Michiganians Day Local Legislative Forum where you will be able to meet with state legislators representing Berrien, Cass and Van Buren counties to talk about issues impacting seniors and younger persons with disabilities across southwest Michigan.

State legislators currently scheduled to attend include: Senators Kim LaSata and Aric Nesbit,
and Representatives Beth Griffin, Brad Paquette, and Pauline Wendzel

Additionally:
We are looking for LGBTQ+ Berrien, Cass, or Van Buren residents who are 60+ years old, or their caregivers, who are interested in sharing their experiences, needs, and the gaps in the system that they feel exist.
