Make a difference with OutCenter Southwest Michigan

Small businesses across southwest Michigan were hit hard during the Covid-19 pandemic. In fact, minority-owned and small businesses seem to have been disproportionately impacted and we feel it’s important to note this and address it. The Board, staff and volunteers of the OutCenter want to provide you new opportunities to promote your business throughout 2023. When your company sponsors OutCenter Southwest Michigan you are investing in a richer diversity of talent and community that impacts LGBTQ+ employers, employees, and families. And this means an improvement in the quality of life for everyone including you, your family, and your employees and their families.

We remain committed to our work – even in our new landscape. We strive to create an inclusive and rich diversity across our area, where LGBTQ+ are included and contributing members of Southwest Michigan.

In 2022 we:

• Promoted 273 LGBTQ+ inclusive policies to schools and nonprofits serving youth.

• Provided LGBTQ+ Healthcare Equity presentations to 954 people.

• Provided 17 educational workshops to 331 school and nonprofit staff.

• More than quadrupled our previous year's program attendance.

• Partnered with 22 other organizations to provide more holistic services to LGBTQ+ people and their families.
